Ryan Israel joined Butera & Andrews’ law and government affairs practice in June 2002 after graduating from the Pepperdine University School of Law.

Ryan was a Fellow and Founding Student Board Member of Pepperdine's Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology Law and a member of the Moot Court Board.

From 1995-1999, Ryan served as a legislative aide on Capitol Hill for Rep. Donald A. Manzullo (R-IL) handling financial services, health care, transportation and energy issues.

Before graduating with honors from the George Washington University's Columbian College of Arts and Sciences in 1995, Ryan spent much of his time in Washington interning with the Illinois Congressional Delegation.  He was also a Michael J. Curry intern in the administration of former Gov. Jim Edgar (R-IL) in 1993.
   

 Ryan is a member of the Bar in California and the District of Columbia.
