They also advise international clients on cross border mergers and acquisitions. The team has built an international reputation for excellence in the energy, banking, aviation and insurance industries.

John received his legal education at the University of Glasgow (LLb) in Scotland and at Georgetown University Law Center (LLM in International and Comparative Law) in Washington DC.

He was visiting scholar at Georgetown University law Center 1991 - 1995 where he researched in the private legal papers of the late Justice William J Brennan Jr. of the United States Supreme Court.
